Wonderful Life

           Great morning sunshine strikes spots on my face waking me up with a lively "hello!" from the birds on the roof.I sat down on my bed,folded my legs in,closed my eyes and said my simple prayer to Him.It was a wonderful day though.I opened my arms wide,raised them up and took a deep breath.Thank God that He gave me another day to live wisely.A day full of uncertainty,a day full of mystery.


            I heard my little sister's laughter as she was cuddled by my father.My mom prepares our delicious breakfast of tortang talong and fried egg in the kitchen.The ambiance seemed so nice,despite the bad news that we received last night.My brother who is about to graduate this year failed to comply with his thesis requirements.We were truly sad but our love and support is in him.It was truly a blessing though for our bond as a family was strengthened.It is not easy for us,specially for my kuya but this lead us optimism and enlarged faith to God.It has also awakened us to reality that sacrifices are better than regrets.

            Still,we are thankful that we were given reasons to smile and laugh and giggle,that remind us that we are living a wonderful life.

            Trials come and go.They are the snow that gives meaning to the winter,the sun that starts the summer, the leaves that wither in the season of  fall and the flowers that bloom on spring.And if we surpass them,then we are having a wonderful life.
